Midland Custom Cabinets

The first thing that comes to mind when considering custom cabinets is the kitchen and bathroom.  And, to be honest that's what we do most.  But, keep in mind that we have done jobs ranging from, master closet organization and storage, craft rooms, custom tailored wine cellars, breakfast nook built ins, bookcases that conceal hidden rooms, and so much more.

Just keep that in mind, but...

Your kitchen and bathroom are well traveled spaces and the cabinets should be one of the foundational parts of the design.  Within the cabinet design consultation we will discuss what it is you are trying to accomplish.

Do you need more functionality out of your kitchen?  This is where we would discuss different in-cabinet features and options.

-What about having a cutting board built inside a cabinet drawer?  And that cutting board (the one with a hole cut in it) lives right about the cabinet for the trash.  Which happens to be an automatic slide out trash can.

You can tell I get excited about this stuff.

When you are looking to create a truly custom kitchen or bathroom our craftsman come with years of carpentry skills making custom cabinets.  I can't imagine a design idea we couldn't make happen.  One of my favorite features we added was on our last custom cabinet build.

You know that dead panel just below the sink?  We built a stainless steel sponge holder on the inside of that panel.  The doors open to 45% for easy, hidden access.  It's features like these that set us apart, that make us the best.

Have you ever wanted more storage or a unique touch of design or new functionality in your space?  This is most obvious for bathroom cabinets.   Custom bathroom cabinets can be some of the most important...because of the limited space.  Ideas that create more function in your bathroom can make a big difference.

I'm sure you can remember when your kids were younger and the difficult time they had reaching the sink.  Well imagine having a bottom drawer that pulled out and functioned as a step stool.  Genius right...I can't claim it, but it's pretty cool.

We want to be a part of your next renovation or new kitchen/bathroom build.  Give us a chance to prove why so many trust us to build their cabinets.

Top 4 reasons to use a custom cabinet maker

  1. Skilled Craftsman:

What you will find when choosing custom over pre-built is the attention to detail. If you decide on a pre-built design you are going to be limited to what is available at the big box stores.

  2. Superior Materials:

High quality wood and finishes are not features often found in pre-fab cabinets. From a product standpoint, custom cabinet shops will use superior quality wood and construction methods. It's true, you'll pay a bit more. But, if you want a finished product that will stand up to years of wear and tear... it's best to go custom

  3. Knowledge and experience:

This is a great time to pick the brain of your potential custom cabinetmaker. Do your homework. The craftsman that you hire should be able to answer all the questions you have. This cabinet builder should also be asking you a ton of questions as well... Like:

-How do you plan to use this space?

-Are there features you want added?

-How about functionality, is there something special we need to consider?

This builder should enjoy the process and see this new project as an artist would see a blank canvas. If your potential cabinet makers isn't as involved as you are in the process then it may be time to call us.

  4. Referrals:

The craftsman that is allowed to come into your home should have plenty of happy customers. Often time these homeowners will be happy to let you see the cabinetmakers work. This is a true sign that this is the right company to work with.
